Fenton PANTHER FTD ICS BOWLDEEP BLUESCARCE COLORA-1 Picture(s) and Description:

THANK YOU FOR STOPPING BY AND WELCOME TO MY AUCTION! I ESPECIALLY WANT TO THANK THE REPEAT BUYERS. I GREATLY APPRECIATE YOUR BUSINESS, LOYALTY AND COMMUNICATIONS! IT IS MY HOPE THAT YOU ALWAYS ENJOY THE ON-LINE AUCTION EXPERIENCE AND CONTINUE TO COME BACK OFTEN. MY AUCTIONS ARE ALWAYS NO RESERVE AUCTIONS, HAVE BEEN FOR YEARS, THE WAY AUCTIONS SHOULD BE. SO ENJOY AND HAVE SOME FUN! ITEM DESCRIPTION: This is an old and SCARCE Fenton PANTHER Footed Ice Cream Shaped Bowl with the Butterfly and Berry exterior in deep Cobalt BLUE Base Glass. The iridesence on the front is Multi-Color and radium, really glistens in natural light. Lovely teals, blues and reds. It is a beautiful example of the pattern, color and shape. Panther bowls in blue are a tough find...especially ones with great color and in super condition. If you need one to fill out a super Berry Set or you're looking to start one...here is a dandy. The photos captured it pretty well. There is no makers mark. It is vintage Fenton at its best. It is every bit as gorgeous as the photos show off and then some. My photos are taken outside in natural light. I never use a flash or props. I never enhance photos, never have, never will. If the piece looks awesome in the photos...that is because...it is! What you see is what you will get! ITEM MEASUREMENTS: The piece is 5 1/8 inches wide. 2 1/4 inches tall. ITEM CONDITION: There are no chips, cracks or repairs on this awesome piece! THE BASE: The base and feet I find to be in great condition, I can see only a hint of shelf wear...exceptional for these. It sits flat, level and solid on a flat surface. The mold seams are smooth to the touch. Overall terrific shape. THE FRONT: I can't make out any wear on the front at all. Exceptional for the display surface of any piece 100 years old. Beautiful mold strike. THE BACK: The back has beautiful multi-colored iridescence. I can't find any signs of wear. As nice as you will likely ever find. THE EDGE: The Edge Treatment on the piece is very well done. Well shaped and even all the way around. That is all I can find on this very attractive and tough to find bowl. The piece is in superb condition and the radium display front, combined with wonderful colors, really dances in natural light. I think the overall condition of the bowl speaks volumes as to how this piece was cared for over the last century. It is a great example...one that will make your display stand out. If you have been looking for a good one or have been looking to upgrade yours ...give this piece serious consideration...it is an impressive piece on the shelf! Certainly attracts attention! Look over those photos again. It is every bit as gorgeous as it looks and then some. My auction format is very plain and I mean it to be that way. I am an antique enthusiast. I'm selling fine antiques...not me. The pieces I sell are part of our history, as a country, and awesome all by themselves...no glitz is needed! Please enjoy the many photos and detailed descriptions...in my opinion...nothing else needs to be done or said. I do my best to point out damage or wear issues with the pieces I offer. I'm not perfect...but I am honest. True antique glass always has some manufacturing marks. It was made a century ago and mass produced...cheaply...well before quality was an idea. If there is a manufacturing mark that is out of the ordinary...such as excessive, contained, bubbles throughout the glass...I will mention it. Normal manufacturing marks, though, will not be mentioned and should certainly be anticpated. Look over the many photos provided. Please educate yourself about the items you are buying and ask questions while the auction is in progress. If typical manufacturing marks bother you...please ask questions up front! I will answer questions as diligently as I can. EDUCATION: It is always a good idea to educate yourself about the antiques you are interested in purchasing. It will further your appreciation and interest. For Carnival Glass....I highly recommend David Doty's Carnival Glass Website. I also find his Field Guides extremely helpful if you can find them, there are several. Even used...they are well worth the money. I also recommend Edwards and Carwile's Carnival Glass Encyclopedia. There are other worthy materials out there that will help you learn and grow, as well as numerous clubs and organizations. SHIPPING: I ship USPS Priority exclusively and I usually ship only on Saturdays and Mondays. I use bubble wrap and foam peanuts to package the pieces. I take great pride in packaging these wonderful pieces of history VERY well...like they deserve to be packaged and I like them packaged for me. I do apply a small handling fee to the Shipping Cost. I greatly apologize, but Shipping supplies are NOT cheap. Running NO RESERVE Auctions doesn't mean I make money. I never know how an item will sell. I can't afford to take losses on items (which happens) AND pay for Shipping Materials. In order to maintain the NO RESERVE Auction format that many of you greatly appreciate and have let that be known...I must make sure Shipping Supplies are covered. Also included in this fee is INSURANCE of your piece in the unlikely event it is damaged in transit. My goal, however, is to NEVER have a damaged piece of glass...EVER! My feedback comments prove my diligence in that regard. RETURNS: All purchases are considered final. I run 7 to 10 day auctions with plenty of photos, text and lots of time for questions if needed. I will accept returns if I have obviously mis-represented an item and I agree that I have. I will refund the original Purchase Price and the original Shipping Cost only.
