THANK YOU FOR STOPPING BY AND WELCOME TO MY AUCTION! I ESPECIALLY WANT TO THANK THE REPEAT BUYERS. I GREATLY APPRECIATE YOUR BUSINESS, LOYALTY AND COMMUNICATIONS! IT IS MY HOPE THAT YOU ALWAYS ENJOY THE ON-LINE AUCTION EXPERIENCE AND CONTINUE TO COME BACK OFTEN. MY AUCTIONS ARE ALWAYS NO RESERVE AUCTIONS, HAVE BEEN FOR YEARS, THE WAY AUCTIONS SHOULD BE. SO ENJOY AND HAVE SOME FUN! ITEM DESCRIPTION: This is an old Fenton KITTENS Toothpick Holder. Some call these vases. Either way...you buy it as you call it...the pattern is Kittens and the Base Glass color is elusive, rich BLUE. This example displays very well with Multi-Color splashes all the way around. You can't display this one wrong. A super example of this ever popular pattern and shape. The piece is in super condition too. If you have been looking for an above above average example or have been looking for an upgrade...check this one out and give it some consideration. The photos captured it pretty well. There is no makers mark. It is vintage Fenton at its best. It is every bit as gorgeous as the photos show off and then some. My photos are taken outside in natural light. I never use a flash or props. I never enhance photos, never have, never will. If the piece looks awesome in the photos...that is because...it is! What you see is what you will get! ITEM MEASUREMENTS: The piece is 2 1/2 inches tall. 3 3/8 inches wide at the widest point. ITEM CONDITION: There are NO chips, cracks or repairs on this beautiful piece! THE BASE: The base has no wear whatsoever, I can't make out even a hint of shelfwear, and it is ultra smooth. I photographed a tiny manufacturing rough spot on the mold seam for you. It is smaller than the end of a ball point pen. Exceptional condition. It sits flat, level and solid on a flat surface. Superb. THE INTERIOR: I can't make out any wear on the interior at all. Nice mold strike for these. Exceptional for the surface of any piece 100 years old. Lovely details. THE EXTERIOR: The exterior is free of wear and displays beautiful Multi-Color iridescence as well. Exceptional. It is obvious how well the piece has been taken care of over the many years. THE EDGE: The Edge Treatment on the piece is very well done. Well shaped and even all the way around. Great eye appeal. That is all I can find on this Elegant Fenton piece...a stellar example of this Lovely pattern and base glass color. This is a great opportunity to pick up one that is above average. It shows itself extremely well in natural light. I think the overall condition of the piece speaks volumes as to how this piece was cared for over the last century. It is a high quality piece that will make your display stand out. If you have been looking for a beautiful example or have been looking to upgrade yours ...give this piece serious consideration...it is visually appealing on the shelf! Look over those photos again. It is every bit as gorgeous as it looks and then some. My auction format is very plain and I mean it to be that way. I am an antique enthusiast and collector of old glass and pottery...I find it facinating. I'm selling fine antiques...not me. The pieces I sell are part of our history, as a country and all made right here in the good ole' USA unless I state otherwises. Imagine...made in the USA...what a concept! They are awesome all by themselves...no glitz is needed! Please enjoy the many photos and detailed descriptions...in my opinion...nothing else needs to be done or said. You will find my descriptions much more detailed than you will get at any public auction...guaranteed! I do my best to point out damage or wear issues with the pieces I offer. I'm not perfect...but I am honest. True antique glass always has some manufacturing marks. It was made a century ago and mass produced...cheaply...well before quality was an idea. If there is a manufacturing mark that is out of the ordinary...such as excessive, contained, bubbles throughout the glass...I will mention it. Normal manufacturing marks, though, will not be mentioned and should certainly be anticpated. Look over the many photos provided. Please educate yourself about the items you are buying and ask questions while the auction is in progress. If typical manufacturing marks bother you...please ask questions up front! I will answer questions as diligently as I can. EDUCATION: It is always a good idea to educate yourself about the antiques you are interested in purchasing. It will further your appreciation and interest. For Carnival Glass....I highly recommend David Doty's Carnival Glass Website. I also find his Field Guides extremely helpful if you can find them, there are several. Even used...they are well worth the money. I also recommend Edwards and Carwile's Carnival Glass Encyclopedia. There are other worthy materials out there that will help you learn and grow, as well as numerous clubs and organizations. SHIPPING: I ship USPS Priority exclusively and I usually ship only on Saturdays and Mondays. I use bubble wrap and foam peanuts to package the pieces. I take great pride in packaging these wonderful pieces of history VERY well...like they deserve to be packaged and I like them packaged for me. I do apply a small handling fee to the Shipping Cost. I greatly apologize, but Shipping supplies are NOT cheap. Running NO RESERVE Auctions doesn't mean I make money. I never know how an item will sell. I can't afford to take losses on items (which happens) AND pay for Shipping Materials. In order to maintain the NO RESERVE Auction format that many of you greatly appreciate and have let that be known...I must make sure Shipping Supplies are covered. Also included in this fee is INSURANCE of your piece in the unlikely event it is damaged in transit. My goal, however, is to NEVER have a damaged piece of glass...EVER! My feedback comments prove my diligence in that regard. RETURNS: All purchases are considered final. I run 7 to 10 day auctions with plenty of photos, text and lots of time for questions if needed. I will accept returns if I have obviously mis-represented an item and I agree that I have. I will refund the original Purchase Price and the original Shipping Cost only.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: This is an old and VERY SCARCE Fenton AUTUMN ACORN Collar Based Plate. The Base Glass color is brilliant GREEN. But...by the iridescence...you would never know it was green unless you picked it up and held it to a bright light. You know the iridescence is excellent when that visual effect occurs. These plates rarely come up for sale anywhere...they are quite elusive. Here it is a tremendous example for you to consider. The beautiful Multi-Color iridescence is strong from the center all the way out to the edge. The photos show it well...please take a look. The color is very rich and vibrant...particularly in the center...surrouding the center leaf...absolutely fantastic. I would describe the center and immediate surrounding area Radium...it is extremely brilliant and eye catching. This one will garner attention. The condition matches the color too...extremely nice. Quite an impressive piece on display in natural light. ITEM MEASUREMENTS: The piece is 9 1/4 inches wide. 1 3/8 inches tall. Very flat! ITEM CONDITION: There are NO chips, cracks or repairs on this awesome piece! THE BASE: The base is ultra smooth with only a hint of shelf wear on the bottom noted...nothing uncommon whatsoever. It sits flat, level and solid on a flat surface. Excellent condition. THE INTERIOR: I can make out only a few extremely teeny flecks of loss of iridescence (is what I call it) scattered in two spots on the front, much smaller than the end of a ball point pen. Simply put...it is nothing but slight wear...common to old glass and nothing uncommon here I assure you. We're talking about things only seen upon VERY close inspection of the piece. I have included several close ups for you to look over and as you can see, even if enlarged, anything beyond shadows and beautiful color is quite difficult to find. The acorns have very, very light wear on some. The dark spots on the acorns in the photos are shadows only! The display surface is exceptional for any piece 100 years old, FAR, FAR above average...extremely sharp! THE EXTERIOR: I can see only a few tiny flecks of wear as described above. Exceptional. Beautiful multi-colored iridescence all through the exterior. THE EDGE: The Edge Treatment on the piece is very well done. Great even shape all the way around. Ultra nice. That is all I can find on this VERY SCARCE and striking Fenton beauty! These plates are very elusive and the condition of this one, combined with superb colors and excellent details...it really dances in natural light. The overall condition of the piece speaks volumes as to how this piece was cared for over the last century. It is a TOP NOTCH, TOP SHELF example...one that will make your display stand out. An outstanding piece to invest in. There are not many around! If you have had one on your radar, been looking or have been looking to upgrade yours ...give this piece serious consideration...it is a most impressive on the shelf! Certainly attracts attention! Look over those photos again. It is every bit as gorgeous as it looks and then some. My auction format is very plain and I mean it to be that way.
FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS THIS GORGEOUS VINTAGE MILK GLASS POPPY STUDENT LAMP MADE BY FENTON BETWEEN 1970-1980. THE TOTAL HEIGHT OF THIS LAMP IS APPROXIMATELY 20 INCHES TALL, 8 INCHES AT THE WIDEST POINT AND EACH SIDE OF THE SQUARE BASE MEASURE 4 1/2 INCHES AND THE CHIMNEY IS 9 INCHES TALL. THIS PIECE HAS VERY CRISP DETAIL AND WONDERFUL COLOR AND IS VERY FINE QUALITY. THE BASE IS WHITE MARBLE WITH BROWNISH GRAY SWIRLS AND SPECKS IN IT AND IT HAS A FENTON LABEL ON IT AS WELL AS A BLUE LABEL WHICH SAYS PORTABLE LAMP ISSUE NO. K-1314. THE METAL IS GOLD COLOR AND IT HAS A 78 INCH CORD WHICH I DON'T THINK IS THE ORIGINAL ONE. ON THE BOTTOM OF THE BASE IT IS STAMPED IN BLACK INK WITH WHAT I THINK ARE THE NUMBERS F-40502. THIS BEAUTIFUL LAMP IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS, NO CRACKS AND NO REPAIRS. THE METAL COLORING IS ALSO IN VERY GOOD CONDITION AND IT WORKS PERFECTLY. THIS IS TRUELY A LOVELY LAMP AND WOULD MAKE A FINE ADDITION TO ANY HOME! ***CHECK OUT MY OTHER AUCTIONS AS I AM LISTING SEVERAL OTHER FENTON ART GLASS PIECES ALL STARTING AT A LOW PRICE WITH NO RESERVE!*** PAYMENT IS DUE WITHIN 5 DAYS AFTER THE AUCTION ENDS.
